SEBASTIAN TREVIÑO is a Mexican actor and singer from Monterrey, Mx. In Mexico City he’s worked in the acclaimed musical Wicked as well You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Man of la Mancha and Rent. He recently had his NY stage debut, where he’s now based, in the musical The Jury and a run in GET’s original musical Pretty Pants Bandit in ATL. Follow him on social media @sebtrevino!

JOHANNA CARLISLE-ZEPEDA is a songstress, actor and advocate for the arts. She has workshopped and taught everything theatre from Voice to Shakespeare for various companies and continues to mentor young artists through coaching. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance at Cornell College and has spent the last few years writing, directing and performing for theater goers in her self produced show Musical Schmoozicals. She is also known for her involvement and dedication to the development of New Works by not only acting for many seasons but directing new works. She originated the role of Felicitas Valdovinos in the World Premeire of Americano! The Musical and is currently in the Off-Broadway production of Americano! at New World Stages.  Her favorite Regional Theatre roles include Inez in The View Upstairs, Beatriz in Miss You Like Hell, Abuela Claudia in In the Heights, Mayor, Ma and Nun in The Toxic Avenger, Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, Madame Thernardier in Les Miserables, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Effy in Spitfire Grill, directed by the incomparable Brad Carroll and Widow Corney in Oliver!, conducted by the outstanding Tito Munoz with The Phoenix Symphony. Johanna also found great joy in performing locally as Diana in Next to Normal, Mary O’Malley and Calcetina in Learn To Be Latina, and naturally, Eddie as well as Dr. Scott in The Rocky Horror Show. From Ft. Peck Summer Theatre to Speakeasy Stage, Johanna goes where the challenging work takes her. Johanna is a bicoastal performer living in Phoenix AZ and Boston, Massachusetts.  Johanna is a current active member of AEA. She adores mixology, music, culture and traveling.  She has also fostered a great love of theatre and music in her immensely talented son, Maxx.

YAMUNA MELETH was most recently the female swing in the national tour of The Office! A Musical Parody and before that was the role of Kelly in the Off-Bway production. She was born in the UK and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Her Master’s degree is in Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. She is also one of two members of the group Saathi—a band with her friend and world-renowned artist/composer, Ezinma. Together they use Sanskrit mantras and music to uplift and inspire people. She is thrilled to be joining Micro-Face and is an NPR super fan. She is represented by the Avalon Artists Group.

LUIS “CHINO” RAMOS

(ENSEMBLE/SWING)

LUIS “CHINO” RAMOS (he/him) is a Mexican-Asian-American actor, singer, and musician in New York City. Recent credits include a co-starring role on Blue Bloods and appearing on stage with actor Michael C. Hall in the off-broadway production of Thom Pain (directed by Oliver Butler). Other works include the first spanish production of In the Heights (directed and choreographed by original broadway cast member Luis Salgado), the world premiere of Anne Washburn and Dave Malloy's Little Bunny Foo Foo (directed by Les Waters), and the new musical Shanghai Sonatas (in development). Luis attended the University of Texas (San Antonio and El Paso) where he studied instrumental and vocal performance, musical theatre, and opera. He also attended Hunter College where he studied acting under Asher Grodman. He currently teaches private music instruction in voice, guitar, and strings. @luischinoramos

KIT GOLDSTEIN GRANT

(ARTISTIC PRODUCER, BOOK, MUSIC, LYRICS, ORCHESTRATIONS)

Kit Goldstein Grant is a composer, lyricist, librettist, and Planet Money fan.  She likes to write musicals about topics ranging from the serious fallout of colonialist attitudes to giant noses running away.  Her musical THE NOSE (that’s the one about the giant nose) has been produced several times in South Africa and NYC, and her musical THE GIANT HOAX had its NYC premiere at Theater Row.

Kit has studied at Juilliard, the Tony-Award winning BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop, and holds a M.M. in Composition from Brooklyn College.  She teaches musical theater writing with Paper Kite Arts, and is passionate about obscure economic phenomena.  www.kitgoldstein.com

JONATHON LYNCH

JONATHON LYNCH is a musical theatre music director/composer currently living in New York City. He was the assistant music director and copyist for Finding Neverland (pre-Broadway workshop, dir. Diane Paulus), music director and dance arranger for The City Club (Minetta Lane), music director of The Giant Hoax (Theatre Row, by Kit Goldstein Grant), music director of A Christmas Story (Engeman Theatre), music director of The Baker’s Wife (Gallery Players), and orchestrator for various songs by Brian Lowdermilk.

 

Recently, he has been the creator, producer, host, music director, and writer of Bite-Sized Broadway: A Mini Musical Podcast.

 

Jonathon is a faculty music director at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, a composer in the Advanced BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Songwriting Workshop, and an alum of Northwestern University. RACHAEL GUMA

(LIVE FOLEY ARTIST)

RACHAEL GUMA is a light and sound artist whose work has shown internationally. Through her experiments with liquid light shows and analog sound, Rachael strives to create an engaging live viewing experience that embraces the idiosyncratic qualities of technology, while maintaining a hand-crafted approach to her output. Since graduating from the San Francisco Art Institute, her films have screened at the San Francisco Cinematheque, RX Gallery, Mono No Aware, Northern Flickers, UnionDocs, AXWFF, Black Maria, Echo Park Film Center and Microscope Gallery where she was invited to present her first solo show in 2013. In 2016-2017, Rachael participated in Dreamlands: Expanded, a series of expanded cinema events organized by Microscope Gallery in collaboration with the Whitney Museum of American Art as part of the exhibition “Dreamlands: Immersive Cinema & Art, 1905-2016”. In this series, she premiered a film, light, and sound composition REDNOWWONDER and provided live sound and additional visual support for a re-staging of Kurt Schwerdtfeger's 1922 “Reflektorische Farblichtspiele” (Reflecting Color-Light-Play). The latter of which she performed in 2019 at HKG in Berlin, Germany and the Paul Klee Museum in Bern, Switzerland for the traveling exhibition, Bauhaus Imaginista.

 

Collaboration is integral to Rachael's creative process. As a member of Optipus Film Collective, she has performed live foley and record manipulations at the Kitchen, Participant Gallery, 2011  Index  Festival, Roulette, the Museum of Art and Design (MAD), Morbid Anatomy Museum, Transient Visions, and Unseen Cinema. Rachael plays theremin for the sound collective, Underworld Oscillator Corporation, most recently performing a live score for the silent film version of The Phantom of the Opera (1925). She is also a founding member of the liquid light projection group, A Clockface Orange, who most recently performed a multi-media composition in a virtual platform for Orphan Film Symposium Online. As Sound Director of the children's play "Lyle The Crocodile" at the Long Island Children's Museum, she created the soundscapes and performed live sound for the run of the show.

CHRISTIAN JUSTINANO CEPEDA is a Brooklyn based interdisciplinary artist. A SUNY Purchase conservatory graduate, Christian is blending his classical music background with Meisner and the Alexander Technique to explore new realms of self-expression. You can find him playing bass in the folk singer-songwriter project, The Katie Martucci Trio, and guitar in progressive punk project, The Vigilance Committee.

DEBBIE CHRISTINE TJONG is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and actress. An alumni of Berklee College of Music, she has been working professionally as a singer and piano player for 10 years.In addition to piano and voice, she plays the bass, guitar and drums. She has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions, most recently being in the ensemble and understudying the female lead in The Wrong Man, helmed by the team of Hamilton. She also appeared in the Netflix movie ...Tick tick BOOM! as an actor/bass player, and she is currently the keyboardist and background vocalist for the band Sammy Rae and The Friends. Off-Broadway:The Wrong Man (MCC Theater), We're Gonna Die (Second Stage), Rags Parkland (Ars Nova), Red Roses, Green Gold (Minetta Lane Theater), Missed Connections: A Craigslist Musical (New Ohio theater).

LAURA HAMEL is a New York based theater drummer and percussionist and is very excited to be a part of Micro-Face. She has notable credits such as: A Christmas Story National Tour, Black Hole Wedding at NYMF, and Brilliance performed off-Broadway. When not performing on stage, she teaches her many students on a variety of instruments including drums, guitar, ukulele, and piano.
